BIANCA TROMP
Bianca started her career after qualifying as a Registered Dietitian at North West University in 2010. She completed her community service year at Kimberley Hospital in the Northern Cape which ignited a passion for public health and nutrition research. While working in the public health sector, Bianca completed her MSc in Dietetics from the University of the Free State in 2015, with a focus on mother and child health in the context of HIV/AIDS.
After working in the NGO sector with attention on non-communicable diseases including diabetes, obesity and cardiovascular disease, Bianca developed a keen interest in these areas and now advocates for public health policies that emphasise non-communicable diseases.
As non-communicable diseases are of key interest to Bianca, the FUTURELIFE® Dietetics team was a natural fit and she joined the team in January 2020 as the Western and Northern Cape Regional Dietitian. Bianca believes that FUTURELIFE® products can improve the nutritional status of all South Africans where a double burden of malnutrition, namely undernutrition and obesity, is prevalent.
