BIANCA JONISCHKEIT
Bianca J completed her BDietetics degree at the University of Pretoria in 2016, whereafter she was placed at a regional hospital in the East Rand as a community service dietician.
After completing her community service, Bianca stayed on at the hospital, working in the Neonatal ICU and surgical wards, as well as closely with severe and moderate acute malnutrition in infants and young children, malnutrition in HIV and post-surgery patients, diabetic and hypertensive patients. This is what sparked her interest in the role that food can play in immunity and digestive health and the benefits of fibre as well as paediatric nutrition. It was during her time in the clinical setting that Bianca saw the benefit of education and post hospital care and treatment in her patients.
Bianca saw an opportunity to expand on her business knowledge and gained some practical experience in a more corporate environment and is currently completing her master’s in business administration. This is where she saw an opportunity to combine her clinical knowledge with her newfound business knowledge and she joined the FUTURELIFE® team as a Dietitian in December 2020.
Bianca has always been passionate about food and how it brings people together, as well as the benefits a well-balanced diet can have in the prevention of disease. She enjoys doing research into soy and soy products as well as current consumer trends and has a passion for human development and empowerment and believes that FUTURELIFE® plays a keen role in this.
