Balanced Sandwich with High Protein Oats & Honey Flavoured Brown Bread : INGREDIENTS
- 1 slice of the FUTURELIFE® High Protein Oats & Honey Flavoured Brown Bread
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter or nut butter of choice
- ½ medium green apple, sliced
- Unsalted peanuts/ nut of choice, chopped
- Juice of ½ a lemon
- ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon
METHOD
- Place the apple slices in a bowl, add the lemon juice and cinnamon and let it sit to absorb the flavour until the rest of the sandwich is completed.
- Spread the peanut butter (or nut butter of choice) on 1 slice of the FUTURELIFE® High Protein Oats & Honey Flavoured Brown Bread (can be toasted)
- Remove the excess liquid from the apples and place the apple slices on top of the bread with the peanut butter. Sprinkle with the chopped nuts
- Enjoy as an open sandwich!
